
ARTICLE 1: GENERAL PROVISIONS
The client agrees to respect and ensure compliance with all the provisions set out in this document, as well as with legal and regulatory requirements.ARTICLE 2: CAPACITY
The client acknowledges having the legal capacity to enter into a contract, i.e., being of legal age and not under guardianship or trusteeship.ARTICLE 3: BOOKING TERMS
To confirm the stay, a prepayment is required at the time of booking. It represents 30% of the total amount of the stay (standard rates) or 100% of the stay (non-refundable rates). The prepayment is made by credit card. Payment of the deposit is a determining and substantive condition of the booking. Without the payment of the deposit, the hotel cannot confirm the booking, and the availability of the reserved room(s) cannot be guaranteed. In accordance with Article 1590 of the French Civil Code, the deposit will be retained in case of cancellation. However, all deposit payments remain refundable according to the cancellation policy. Deposits not claimed before December 31 of the year they were acquired will be forfeited by the client. Rates are listed in euros (€). The tourist tax is not included. Rates mentioned on the website are subject to change without notice, and only the price stated in the booking confirmation is binding.ARTICLE 4: ROOM AVAILABILITY
Rooms are available from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 11:00 AM on the day of departure.ARTICLE 5: CANCELLATION POLICY
For bookings made through our website at www.hoteldeparislarochelle.com, by phone at +33 5 46 41 03 59, or via email at contact.hoteldeparis@gmail.com, the cancellation terms are as follows:Standard Rate (cancelable up to 3 days before arrival):
Prepayment of 20% at the time of booking (the remaining balance is due upon arrival).
Refund for cancellations made up to 3 days before arrival (no cancellation fees).Non-Refundable Rate:
Full prepayment at the time of booking.
The booking is non-modifiable and non-refundable in case of cancellation.
ARTICLE 6: MODIFICATION AND/OR INTERRUPTION OF STAY
Any request to modify a booking must be sent to the Hôtel de Paris by email at contact.hoteldeparis@gmail.com. Booking modifications are considered firm and final only upon receipt of confirmation from the Hôtel de Paris. Modification requests may, if applicable, result in the application of cancellation conditions.
In case of interruption of the stay and/or early departure, the entire stay remains payable.ARTICLE 7: PAYMENT METHODS
The payment of services (minus the deposit) is made directly at the hotel. The hotel accepts credit cards, cash, and holiday vouchers. Personal checks are not accepted.ARTICLE 8: RELOCATION
In case of exceptional circumstances or technical or organizational issues at the hotel that render the client's stay impossible, the hotel will make every effort to find alternative accommodation, ideally in a hotel of similar category. Relocation costs (rate difference) will be covered by the hotel only if relocation occurs within 48 hours before the client's arrival.ARTICLE 9: DATA PROTECTION
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act No. 78-17, clients are informed that their booking is subject to computerized processing of personal data. Users have the right to access and rectify their data, which can be exercised by contacting the company’s head office. Clients consent to being included in the hotel's customer database. It is specified that this information is not shared with third parties.ARTICLE 10: COMPLAINTS
Any complaint must be sent via registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt to Hôtel de Paris, 18 Rue Gargoulleau, 17000 LA ROCHELLE, no later than 15 days after the departure date. Beyond this period, no claims will be considered.ARTICLE 11: INSURANCE – LIABILITY
The hotel declines all responsibility for theft, loss, or damage to clients’ belongings during their stay. Clients will be held responsible for any damage, deterioration, or vandalism caused by them, their guests, or personnel under their charge, to any property belonging to the hotel. In case of online booking through our website, we cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from internet usage, such as data loss, viruses, or service interruptions.ARTICLE 12: RECOMMENDATIONS
The client agrees not to invite any person whose behavior might harm the establishment. The hotel reserves the right to intervene if necessary.ARTICLE 13: JURISDICTION
Disputes arising from the application or interpretation of these terms and conditions will be governed by French law and fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts, specifically the Court of Appeal of La Rochelle.
